Abstract
The real and imaginary parts of the complex dielectric constant of the liquid crystal and normal liquid phases of anisaldazine and a mixture of p‐azoxyanisole and p‐azoxyphenetole have been measured at a frequency of 14 400 Mc. The presence of a static magnetic field produces large changes in the observed values of the complex dielectric constant, which depend on the orientation of the magnetic field and on the temperature.
