Abstract
Reduced and oxidized absorption spectra of the respiratory enzyme (“Atmungsferment”) were calculated from the photochemical action spectrum. The calculation was carried Out On the basis of the assumption which had been successfully used for the calculation of cytochrome a3 spectra. The resulting spectra of reduced and oxidized respiratory enzyme showed good agreements with the spectra of ferri- and ferro-cytochrome a3.
