Abstract
Measurements of the D2–D2 total scattering cross section are reported over the range 950–2250 m/sec in relative speed. The data were fit with a piecewise continuous potential constrained to give the correct theoretical behavior for large intermolecular separations. This potential also gives a satisfactory fit to experimental diffusion coefficients. Keywords
