Abstract
The authors discuss the influence of external dislocations on the crack tip process mainly using the superdislocation pair model. They present a detailed comparison of dislocations emitted from external sources and dislocations emitted from the crack source. The results show that external dislocations play a very significant role in the crack tip process. Keywords
