Abstract
The effects of annealing conditions (annealing temperature, time and atmosphere) on the superconducting properties of BiCaSrCu2O x ceramics prepared by the melt quenching method were examined. Although the high-T c phase (T c above 100 K) was detected in the samples annealed at temperatures around 1133 K, its amount was very small. It was found that the samples annealed at temperatures above 1073 K in a nitrogen atmosphere were also superconductors with T c above 80 K.Keywords
