Abstract
Nitrate reductase was localized in mycelial cells of N. crassa by immunohistochemical labeling with ferritin. The enzyme is present in the cell wall-plasmalemma region and in the tonoplast membranes. [Since the enzyme can be activated by blue light it may function as a photoreceptor.].This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
