Abstract
Thermophysical data of solid and liquid Mo and Pd up to the normal boiling temperature obtained by a submicrosecond pulse heating method are presented. These data include the heats of fusion, the thermal expansion and the electrical resistivities. Good agreement is reached with other dynamic and with steady-state data except for the Mo heat of fusion, which comes out to (48.5+or-2.3) kJ mol-1. Comparative values are 15-33% lower. Keywords
