Single Separable Potential with Attraction and Repulsion

Abstract
It is shown that a single separable potential can give both an attraction and a repulsion. This property is used to construct an interaction that fits the two-nucleon, -wave phase shifts. For this potential, the important effects of the strong short-range repulsion can be included directly in existing three-body progams.
