Abstract
The spectroscopic factors for the , , and pickup from have been calculated in the shell model for two different forces, and the results were compared with distorted-wave Born-approximation (DWBA) analyses of recent experiments. The calculated spectroscopic factors for pickup were found to be considerably smaller than the DWBA results. Various reasons for this discrepancy are discussed.
