Investigation of the () and () Reactions of the Silicon Isotopes

Abstract
An investigation of the , , and reactions has been made using a high resolution magnetic spectrograph. The spectra of particle groups observed at 90 degrees to the incident deuteron beam from silicon-dioxide targets enriched in and were compared to the spectra obtained from targets of natural . The -values for the ground-state transitions are 5.994±0.011, 8.388±0.013, and 4.364±0.007 Mev. The following level positions have been determined:
