Abstract
A case of primary myxedema in which the final diagnosis was made only at the autopsy table was described. Extensive laboratory investigation was inconclusive in differentiating this condition from pituitary myxedema. Extremely low serum electrolytes were present in this patient (serum Na being as low as 105 meq/l).Keywords
