Abstract
The sensitivity to streptomycin of 3 strains of M. tuberculosis was studied. Distr. of streptomycin-resistant strains among variants occurring in normal sensitive populations is discontinuous, the subcultures from the colonies being either sensitive, or resistant to streptomycin in 3 distinct ranges of inhibitory concns. The segregation of the resistant variants into 3 quantitative groups may indicate 3 separate biochemical processes which are interfered with by the streptomycin. Keywords
