Abstract
A fluoride-releasing polyurethane adhesive coating was found to be effective in reducing the acid solubility of enamel in vitro and the incidence of carious lesions of rat molars in vivo; this indicates that the coating would be an efficient topical fluoride system for application to developmental pits and fissures and all other surfaces of teeth. Keywords
