Abstract
The impact-parameter dependence of -shell-vacancy sharing has been investigated with collisions of H-like S () on Ar. An oscillation of the vacancy-sharing ratio with impact parameter has been found which is due to the interference of components of the vacancy-sharing amplitude on incoming and outgoing parts of the collision.
