Abstract
Adenine added exogenously to rat thymocytes after 1 kR x-irradiation displayed a remarkable restorative effect on the release of 0·15 M NaCl-soluble DNA from the cells. Adenine also restored the ATP-decline and cell-death, judged as erythrosin B inclusion of the 1 kR-irradiated thymocytes. A possible relationship among these phenomena was discussed. This publication has 10 references indexed in Scilit:
