Abstract
Rhinonyssus coniventris is illustrated and redescr. New host records are the willet, sanderling, and lesser yellowlegs. R. rhinolethrum (=Sommatericola levensini Tragardh) is illus. and redescr. New host records are the Canadian goose and ducks (mallard, pintail, gadwall, shoveller, green-winged teal, baldpate, and lesser scaup). R. himantopus is from black-backed stilts, and Sternostoma boydi from ring-billed gulls, laughing gulls, ruddy turnstones and sanderlings. All records are from Texas. A key to genera and subgenera of Rhinonyssidae is given.Keywords
