Abstract
• A new idea helps to explain postenucleation orbital implant extrusion. Implant extrusion is related to wound dehiscence followed by conjunctival epithelial downgrowth. A prospective clinical study with pathological data are used to support this concept. A procedure for repair of this problem is described. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
