Abstract
A generalized technique has been presented to calculate the energy bands of a periodic potential structure using quantum mechanical impedance. Periodic structures having a nonrectangular potential distribution can also be analyzed using this technique. Some computed results are presented for different potential distributions in the periodic structures. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
