Abstract
The clinical features of two cases of generalized amyloidosis are presented with particular emphasis on the cardiac findings. Suggestive of amyloidosis is the triad of intractable congestive heart failure of unknown etiology, a picture resembling chronic constrictive pericarditis, and an abnormal ecg. In addition digitalis sensitivity is tentatively proposed as a 4th observation of possible diagnostic merit. Keywords
