Abstract
The strains tested were of diverse origins and were inoculated intraven. 37 strains produced a pyelonephritis and cystitis which appeared to be identical with the gross lesions observed in bovine pyelonephritis. 68% of the cultures isolated from clinical bovine cases proved virulent for mice, while only 25% of those isolated from apparently normal cattle were pathogenic. Keywords
