Abstract
The authors restrict their review to consideration of the role played in the diet by "true fats," esters of fatty acids with glycerol. In addition to general considerations they discuss these special subjects: fats as vit. carriers, vit. B sparing action of fat, relation of dietary fat to body fat and milk fat, alleged toxicity of cod liver oil, digestibility and absorption of fats, fat in the diabetic diet. This publication has 21 references indexed in Scilit:
