Abstract
A case of Ph1-positive chronic myelocytic leukemia associated with a complex translocation involving chromosomes #9, #17, and #22 was described. All cells in the marrow contained this complex karyotypic picture, and no cells with the usual type of Ph1 translocation were present. With banding analysis, the karyotypic picture consisted of 46,XX,t(9;22;17)(q34;q11 ;q21). The published cases of usual and complex Ph1 translocations were summarized in tabular form and some aspects of the translocations discusse. Keywords
