Abstract
A copolyazomethine exhibiting a mesophasic behavior is studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The nature of the mesophase is determined by observations of contact samples in a polarizing microscope. The copolymer mesophase is isomorphic with the nematic phases of reference compounds. Keywords
