Abstract
The chloroplast DNA of L. usitatissimum var. “Stormont Cirrus” has been mapped with respect to the recognition sites for the enzymes SalP1, Sst1 and SalG1. It is a circular molecule of about 160 kilobasepairs, with an inverted repeat containing the rDNA. Comparisons between chloroplast DNA of uninduced and induced flax genotrophs show there to be no major structural differences. Keywords
