Abstract
The antepartum loss of a twin with survival of the second twin to delivery was studied in the Tasmanian population from 1980 to 1989 inclusive. No previous study of an Australian population has been reported. This rare complication occurs in 3.5% of twin pregnancies. The outcome of these pregnancies and the outcome for the surviving twin are discussed. Keywords
