Abstract
The rate of flow of blood in large blood vessels is affected when exposed to a strong magnetic field. This problem is modeled in terms of the hydromagnetic Navier-Stokes equation, explicit solutions are obtained for the flow velocity and flow rate of blood in a large artery, placed in a magnetic field. Rigorous and general solutions are obtained in terms of ber and bei functions for an axially symmetric case. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
