Abstract
A new expression of the differential cross section of bremsstrahlung in nuclear fields is given. Higher-order Coulomb correction terms are included, but the effect of the atomic electron screening, the radiative corrections, and the nucleus size are neglected. Validity of the formula obtained here is discussed. It is expected to give good accuracy in the energy region from a few MeV to about 50 MeV for high values of the atomic number of the target, as long as the screening effects are negligible. Some remarks concerning computation of the cross section are included. Keywords
