Abstract
Different methods that have been developed and used for computer-aided analysis of ECG waves are discussed. Two new approaches are presented for computerized analysis, which feature extraction of various segments of the ECG wave. The first method is based on mixed mathematical functions and the second is based on the spline functions. A method is also presented for the identification and separation of P, Q, R, S, and T segments. Keywords
