Abstract
Solutions to the diamagnetic Hamiltonian for Rydberg states of hydrogen are studied in the low-magnetic-field regime where term mixing can be ignored. Several recently proposed approximate bases are compared by calculating the overlap integrals with an accurate numerically generated basis.Keywords
