Superhyperfine Interactions in CdF2:Yb

The superhyperfine structure of Yb³⁺ in CdF₂ has been observed. Fitting of the structure was done according to the model of Ranon and Hyde. The principal values of the interaction tensor $T$ were approximated to be − 16.7 MHz for $\mathrm{T\perp }$ and 37.8 MHz for $T_{\Vert }$ .
