Abstract
Keeping quality of aniline blue-stained plant material can be greatly enhanced by substituting Euparal for aqueous aniline blue as the mounting medium. Pollen tubes which have been stained for other purposes (e.g. nuclei and chromosomes) and mounted in resinous medium can be restained with aniline blue and fluorescence of pollen tubes can still be observed. Keywords
