Abstract
A thermalization process that depends on both localized and channelized Ohmic heating of a plasma in a spark discharge is proposed. A satisfactory quantitative description of a spark current pulse observed in a recent experiment by Barreto, Reynolds, and Jurenka is given in terms of the proposed process. This publication has 13 references indexed in Scilit:
