Abstract
The magnetic form factor of the induced magnetic moments in -uranium [ at 78 K with an applied field of 7 T] has been measured with polarized neutrons. The experimental points are significantly below the form factors determined for a number of uranium compounds. We interpret the results in terms of wide bands and a partial quenching of the orbital magnetic moment.
