Abstract
The frequency spectrum and specific heat of rubidium have been calculated on the basis of the lattice dynamical model of Sharma and Joshi (1964). The computed values of specific heat are compared with the experimental data by plotting the corresponding Debye characteristic temperature Theta . The theoretical results are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data. Keywords
