Abstract
Bone marrow from 5 patients was involved with sarcoidosis, but their chest roentgenograms were normal. The diagnosis was substantiated by typical histological appearance of noncaseating granulomas in bone marrow, careful exclusion of infectious disease and follow-up study for 3-6 yr. Angiotensin-converting enzyme levels were elevated in all patients at the time of diagnosis.
