Abstract
An experimental determination of the fine structure of the absorption limit of Ge has been made under conditions of high resolving power with the two-crystal spectrometer. Both position and magnitude of the structure were obtained for comparison with the theory of Hartree, Kronig, and Petersen and with their theory as modified by Corson (following paper).
