Abstract
For pt.VII see ibid., vol.2, p.501 (1976). Shell-model calculations have been performed for positive-parity states in 23Na with J>or=11/2. The fitted interaction of Preedom and Wildenthal (1972) is used in the full sd-shell configuration space. Calculated electromagnetic decay properties and level energies are compared in detail with experimental data in the excitation range 5 to 10 MeV. Predictions are made for the properties of some levels above 10 MeV.Keywords
