Abstract
The rotational spectrum of the nu 3 states of OCS and N2O, whose levels lie near 2000 cm-1, has been observed through a vibrational energy transfer from active nitrogen. The frequencies of many transitions between 48 GHz and 158 GHz have been measured; a determination of the rotational and centrifugal distortion constants of these states has been derived. Keywords
