Abstract
The diurnal variation of carbohydrate content in the leaf blades and leaf sheaths of cocksfoot grown in a controlled environment has been investigated. Most variation was found in the values for alcohol‐soluble sugars in the leaf blades, while other fractions showed only small variations. Keywords
