Abstract
By means of rabbit antimyosin globulin tagged to fluorescein, myosin has been identified in the striated myofibrils of the Purkinje cells of the conduction bundle of the beef heart. Myosin prepared from beef heart and injected intravenously into rabbits produced antiserum of high titer within 8 weeks. Antimyosin globulins thus obtained when conjugated to fluorescein proved to be as specific in staining myofibrils as antimyosins prepared previously from skeletal muscle. Keywords
