Abstract
The start/stop straight line as well as complete loop (with 180° corner turns) propagation margins of asymmetrical chevron and half‐disc circuits are compared under various operating conditions at 100 kHz. Three circuit periods (14, 16 and 18 μm) and four gaps (1.5, 2.0, 2.5, and 3 μm) are used in this study. Measurements on these circuits fabricated on YSmLuCaFeCe garnet films indicate that for both straight line as well as full loop propagation, the asymmetrical chevron pattern is superior to the half‐disc pattern, especially for larger gaps. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
