External-cavity tunable diode lasers for network deployment

Abstract

We report tunable lasers with exceptional performance: high output power, wide tuning range, precise wavelength control, high side-mode suppression ratio, and narrow linewidth all at the same time. These external cavity diode lasers are developed specifically for network deployment.
