THE EFFECT OF ANOXIC ANOXIA ON URINE SECRETION IN ANESTHETIZED DOGS

Abstract
In 101 experiments on 30 barbitalized dogs subjected to various degrees of anoxia (14, 11, 9, 7 and 5% O2 in N2), polyuria was generally produced by mild and oliguria by severe anoxia, but the incidence of either was affected by the type of anesthetic agent used.
