Abstract
Magnetic susceptibility measurements of dilute Cr-Er and Cr-Yb alloys are reported. A peculiar magnetic behavior is observed below the Néel temperature. A model is proposed in order to explain this behavior. The random interaction is shown to be responsible for the formation of a peculiar magnetic structure which has common features with a spin-glass. Critical temperatures and magnetic properties are derived.
