Abstract
New experimental results of very stable field emitted electrons from TiC single crystal needles are presented. The optimum flashing temperature region for the stable field emission was found. The stability, which is defined by the ratio of current fluctuation to total current, was better than 0.5% at a vacuum of 10−7 Pa with total electron emission of 1 μA.Keywords
