Abstract
Measurements of the absolute intensity of Kα and Lα x‐ray characteristic lines from x‐ray tubes have been compared with values predicted by an electron‐transport calculation. Agreement is within 6% for Kα lines and 35% for Lα lines, when the ionization cross sections used in the calculation are taken from Burhop, modified as has been suggested by Green and others. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
