Abstract
The photoelectron spectrum of pentaborane (B5H9) was studied using a hemispherical electron spectrometer with a He I (21.22 eV) photon source. Good agreement was obtained with existing ab initio SCF molecular orbital calculations permitting an assignment of all the observed bands. Keywords
