Abstract
Auger-electron spectroscopy has been used to study inner-shell ionization in Ne, , and S by 1-5-MeV and ions. Comparisons are made with corrected plane-wave. Born approximation (CPWBA) and binary-encounter approximation (BEA) calculations. Multiple ionization effects in have been analyzed, and substantial differences in equal-velocity and bombardment are shown.
