Abstract
Abnormalities of cellular calcium homeostasis have been implicated in the pathophysiology of postischemic encephalopathy. Calcium-entry—blocking drugs inhibit the influx of calcium into cells and have been shown to mitigate postischemic encephalopathy in animal models.Keywords
