Abstract
Guinea pigs infected with virulent tubercle bacilli were treated during different stages of the infection. Treatment was found relatively ineffective during the early invasive stage of the disease. A high degree of therapeutic activity was observed in later stages in which there was much destruction of tissues. Inositol was without effect on the course of tuberculosis in guinea pigs. Keywords
